VEHICLE TO GRID AND HEAT PUMP INSTALLATIONS

Installers of vehicle grids and heat pumps are required to notify the local Distribution Network Operator (DNO) of the installation.
If the combined system load exceeds a certain level, a connection must be applied for in advance. Please email the completed ENA notification form to [email protected] or call 01359 302518.

If you’re planning to install an electric vehicle (EV) charger or Embedded Generation (EDG) connection at a property connected to a GTC network, you must notify us first. This ensures the local network can support the extra load and helps maintain safe and reliable supplies.
Use our online SUREconnect portal to gain approval. It’s quick, secure, and gives you confirmation once your request has been processed. If you’re a homeowner arranging work at your property, ask your installer to complete the notification.
