Ofgem is appointed as the heat network regulator as part of the Energy Act (2023). As well as providing important technical compliance, Ofgem will also provide residents with service and price protection.

Metropolitan is experienced in delivering high standards of service to customers. Ofgem regulation will bring enhanced pricing protection and ensure licensed heat network operators provide fairness and transparency within their charging structures.
