Legal transaction timescales can vary due to numerous factors. For example, third party involvement (i.e. landowners who have no vested interest in the development) may significantly increase timescales and this is unfortunately outside of GTC’s control.

Wherever possible, we recommend third-party land is avoided. If this is not possible, we would strongly recommend the developer takes all reasonable endeavours to contact the landowner to request their engagement in this process.

Where the developer is the sole landowner, we recommend that their solicitors are instructed as soon as possible, minimal amendments are made to legal documents, and all title and site information is provided at the earliest opportunity.
