LEADING THROUGH REGULATION
We operate within highly regulated sectors and hold licences from Ofgem to operate as both an Independent Distribution Network Operator (IDNO) and an Independent Gas Transporter (IGT). These licences place clear obligations on how we design, build, operate and maintain our networks – ensuring safety, reliability and high standards of service at every stage.
We are committed to transparency and accountability in how we meet these requirements. This page provides access to our key regulatory documents, including charging statements, standards of performance and other important information for customers and stakeholders.
THE RETAIL ENERGY CODE
We comply with the Retail Energy Code, which governs customer protections, market-wide processes and standards across the energy sector. We meet all the benchmarks for transparency and accountability, meeting regulatory requirements for:
- Safety and service levels
- Customer communications
- Statutory reporting
