Once our quotation has been accepted our expert field engineers oversee the construction of Gas and Electricity Distribution Networks and the installation of meters.

If we are currently providing the network to one of your new developments you can contact your local GTC engineer directly for help and information. Our engineers can assist with technical solutions for all of your on site problems.

Only approved regional construction partners, with full accreditation are permitted to construct networks on behalf of GTC.  When you have accepted our quotation we will provide you with a site pack that will provide you with all of the information you need to manage the programming of work on site efficiently. On site work requests can be made by contacting the relevant GTC appointed regional contractor assigned to the site. Standards of Service for new build projects

• 5 working days notice to deliver meter boxes
• 5 working days notice to deliver service ducting
• 15 working days notice to lay mains
• 10 working days notice to lay services
• 10 working days notice to lay services and fit meter
• 40 working days notice for works in the Public Highway
• 5 working days notice to supply and fit meters

Whilst we will always strive to achieve to the above standards, they do not take into account any exceptional circumstances to normal working conditions that may occur on your development.
