GTC – Lloyd's Accredited and Registered NERS, GIRS, WIRS, MURS and MAMCOP Construction Company
GTC holds the full set of Lloyd's utility technical accreditations and is a GIRS (Gas Industry Scheme), NERS (National Electricity Registration Scheme), and WIRS (Water Industry Registration Scheme) registered company. These accreditations are independently audited by Lloyd's Register of Quality Assurance on behalf of the various industry bodies. GTC's in-house, fully Lloyd's accredited construction teams allow you to be confident that our standards and expertise are of a very high quality.
GTC has earned the following recognised accreditations:
Gas Industry Registration Scheme - GIRS
GIRS is a Lloyd's Registered gas accreditation and represents a company's achievement of a high technical, quality and safety standards, recognised by all UK Gas Transporters. GTC holds the accreditation for design, project management, auditing, and construction. This complements our existing Independent Gas Transporter license (IGT).
National Electricity Registration Scheme - NERS
NERS is a Lloyd's Registered scheme for electricity ensuring high technical, quality and safety standards. The scheme performs technical assessments of the Service Providers. GTC is a NERS registered company and has accreditations in Project Management and Design in addition to holding an Independent Distribution Network Operator license (IDNO).
Water Industry Registration Scheme - WIRS
As with GIRS and NERS, Lloyd's also provide accreditations for water through WIRS, which represents the same high standards for quality and safety. The accreditation is recognised by all water utilities and Water UK and is an independent assessment and registration process. GTC is a WIRS registered company and our in-house construction teams are Lloyd's accredited.
Multi Utility Recognition Status - MURS
With GIRS, NERS, and WIRS GTC can offer a full Multi Utility provision, and is listed as a Multi Utility provider on the Lloyd's Register.

Meter Asset Managers Code of Practice - MAMCOP
For the purposes of Ofgem Approved Meter Installer (OAMI) registration The Meter Asset Manager's Code of Practice (MAMCoP) specifies the requirements for all stages of the gas meter installation's life.
